The Chamberlain Hotel is located in Aldgate on the Eastern edge of the
City of London and close to St Katherine's Dock and the River Thames. This
location is also convenient for London City Airport. There are good shopping and
other amenities in the surrounding area notable in Whitechapel and the Brick
lane. However this is the business district and the amenities of central London
and the tourist areas will require a 15 minute ride on the tube from Tower Hill
station (2 minutes walk from hotel). This part of London tends to be very quiet
weekends with some bars/restaurants not opening until the weekdays. Close to Tower Bridge for access to the South of London and Waterloo
station. Nearest attractions include the Tower of London (0.1 miles), HMS
Belfast (0.5 miles), Monument (0.5 miles), London Dungeon (0.6 miles), Southwark
Cathedral (0.8 miles), St Paul's Cathedral (1.2 miles) and the London Eye (2
miles). The Chamberlain hotel and pub offers traditional style accommodation.
