Old Palace Lodge Hotel - Dunstable

Introduction: The Old Palace Lodge Hotel sits opposite the ancient Priory Church of St Peter and close to the centre of Dunstable. Just over 6 miles from Luton Airport. The town is north west of Luton and the airport is on the far south east of Luton. To bypass going through Luton town centre for the airport you can use the M1 (2 miles away) which is between Dunstable and Luton. The town is unusual in being a large town but with no station of its own. Nearby Dunstable Downs offers great views across the Vale of Aylesbury. Less than a mile from the hotel is Grove Park. This is a leisure park which includes the Grove Theatre, a 780 capacity venue. Also on the site are restaurants, bars and bowling. Other nearby attractions include Dunstable Museum (0.2 miles), Whipsnade Wild Animal Park (2.75 miles), Woodside Animal Farm & Leisure Park (3.5 miles), Bury Park (3.7 miles), Woburn Safari Park (7.89 miles) and Woburn Abbey (8.2 miles).
